White Boards & Chalk Boards with a Punch of Color

I know I use a lot of white paint, and I decided to step out of the box and use some color! I had two nice wood frames, and so I wanted to make a white board and a chalk board with them. I painted my frames with acrylic paint, used Staz On ink to distress them, and then cut out the white board and chalk board to fit in the frames. I waxed the frames and added little hangers on the back. Oops, I forgot I added a little wood box on the white board to hold the markers. How's that for a pop of color? photo imagejpg1-113.jpg photo imagejpg1-114.jpg

  2. I made 2 bigger ones today. I painted one rose colored and the other a very pretty deep blue. I'm going to add a box to one and a hook to the other one. I'm having so much fun!
