Sew Unique!

Years ago I sold my art in a store in Glendale. One month the owner of the shop didn't have enough money to pay me, and so we made a trade for this unique stand. I fixed it up and took it apart over the years so I could use it for different things. Then a couple of months ago I saw one in a shop downtown. It was so pretty! I decided to recreate mine and start using it to carry my sewing supplies. My pictures don't do it justice, but I love it!

New Batch of Aprons!

I sold the last batch of my aprons and thought I would share my new ones. Most of these aprons are made with bits of vintage materials along with recycled fabric.

Here is another space in the room.

What's New?

I have been selling some of my creations in an antique store in town. My biggest sellers are my aprons. Here are a few of the new ones I am taking to the store today.

I have also been covering bullitin boards with denim.

Textiles

I am once again drawn to old fabrics, quilts and tattered materials.

Hoosier Cabinet

I went to an estate sale and it was full of wonderful old treasures. I was in a hurry because it was at 7:00 A.M. and I had to be at school by 7:30. I found lots of neat stuff and was on my way out the door when I spotted an old "Hoosier Cabinet".
I have always wanted one, and the closer I got to it the more it whispered, "Buy me, please!" It was filled with all the original old glass jars and I simply couldn't resist. I have not been sorry for one second about spending my paycheck on my Hoosier!
