I had a little time today, and I had 2 pretty bags that some sheets came in, and I thought they were too pretty not to re-use. I cut and sewed the bags so they were flat. Then I put a plastic insert on the front of the bags. I have 2 stitching projects I am working on, so I put a copy of the projects in each of the inserts. Next I put the fabric project on a hoop, a neeldle case with the coordinating embroidery floss and some little sewing scissors into the bags. Now the projects look pretty, they are organized and ready to go!

Spring Break

I have been stitching away my Spring days. I am very happy when I have a needle and thread in my hands. I like to stitch sayings on linen and sometimes add it to a fabric collage. The older I get the more words mean to me. Here are a few of my little Spring Samplers.

School Stool

I decided I needed a little stool at school so I could reach things in high places. I found this stool and decided it would be perfect with just a little "pretty" added to it. I am oh so happy with my little stool!

Her Tool Box

I think a girl needs her own tool box. You need a hot glue gun, glue, hammer, screw drivers, sand paper, drill, sander, E6000 glue, etc. You need these tools to be handy and to be yours. (That way if you don't put them back or you break them only you will know!!) I love having my tools right there in a box where they are ready to go!! Another day I will show you my cute box where I keep nails, screws, etc.

Canvas Book

Last November my sister's and I attended a KC Willis collage workshop. It was wonderful! I learned how to use photo transfers, collage materials and how to use a heat gun to make canvas look old. If you have a chance to attend one of her workshops you should do it!! Here are a few pages of the canvas book I made using old family photos.

Bucket

This is the sixth bucket I have made. They are great to take camping because they serve as a stool, an ice bucket, or a picnic bucket. When we go out for a long weekend I sometimes take one with craft supplies in it. I have one at school with cleaning supplies and I even made a "Man Bucket" for a friend of ours.
