An Old Quilt

I paid $2.00 for this quilt! It has a few stains, and was tied, not quilted. This is where the good part comes in. I started looking at it and I could see some quilting where there was a little hole. I cut all the ties off the top and ripped the seams around the edge of the quilt, and there was a very old quilt between the layers. It was well worn in some places, but perfect for some of my fabric collages. So now I have a quilt top that I can use as well as a very cool old quilt that will have a new life. That's my kind of find!
